Cardamomò formed in 2010 with the aim of presenting an old and unique repertoire, rigourously acoustic, first tried out in Rome's streets and squares. The use of traditional instruments such as the violin and the diatonic accordion, playing old melodies and refined harmonies, hopes to evoke nostalgia and memories of a distant past. The music envelops the listeners and takes them on a figurative journey through the harbours, alleys, taverns and ballrooms of a lost and distant Europe.
